In 2011, after completing high school in the Netherlands, I went on to study applied Psychology at Hogeschool Leiden. After successfully completing my first year, I enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program in Psychology at Leiden University (LU), from which I graduated in 2016. I extended his degree with a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience and an internship as research methodist at Leiden University Centre for Linguistics (LUCL). I always had a fascination for IT. In 2012 I started developing web-based applications for clients, part-time alongside his academic trajectory. After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree, I registered as Sole Proprietor with the Dutch Chamber of commerce and started working as developer full-time. I eventually took on a position as a Full-Stack developer with Schuttelaar & Partners, a consultancy specialised in Sustainability, Fair trade and Health. At Schuttelaar, I worked on large cases, among others, The Horizon 2020 programme (EU’s research and innovation funding programme), C&A Foundation (Initiative from C&A Fashion and Clothing) and SmartAgriHubs (EU web-awards finalist).
In 2019, I made the decision to immigrate to Switzerland and took up my dormant activities as a freelancer again. In addition, I started working on a Master level online-course in Software Development offered by the University of British Colombia in collaboration with EdX, which I completed in February of 2020. I spent most of my time working for a variety of clients, among others, Plantsome (Dutch Market leader in B2C plant-delivery) and Rumble IT Group (Digital Solutions provider). I joined CryoCloud at the end of 2021, to significantly broaden its scope of expertise and expand it software development capacity.
